The trader’s strike in Tanzania has expanded to other parts of Dar es salaam and different regions in the country.
the strike, which started in Dar es salaam earlier this week stems from traders’ dissatisfaction with the multiple taxes and collection methods executed by the Tanzania revenue authority. Meanwhile, the Government said it is working on the concerns of the traders noting that implementing all of their concerns would have far-reaching ramifications on the execution of some national development projects.
