Nigeria and Argentina will clash in a senior international friendly match in the city of Hangzhou, China, on a yet-to-be-announced date in March, the Argentine Football Federation has announced.
The game is scheduled to take place at the Olympics Sports Centre stadium, which hosted a couple of football games during the 2008 Summer Olympics in the country.
The Albiceleste will face another African side, Ivory Coast, at the Workers’ Stadium in Beijing days later.
The friendly will be the first meeting between the sides after Argetina’s 2-1 victory over Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Nigeria have met Argentina in five different World Cup tournaments, with the Super Eagles yet to record a win or draw.
Nigeria’s last victory against the side was a 4-2 win in a friendly game in 2017.
