The president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame has smashed his own record by winning more than 99% of vote in the presidential election.
this follows the Rwandan election commission announcement declaring president Kagame as the winner of the poll.
meanwhile, an international non-governmental organization, human rights watch has described the result as a reflection of how limited the political space for opposition is in Kwanda.
sharing a different opinion, Ugandan president, Yoweri Museveni said Kagame’s re-election was a testament to the trust and confidence Rwandans had in his leadership.
