The government there has announced free medication treatment for hypertension, diabetes and sickle cell patients in the state.
the commissioner for information, youth, sport and culture, Sagir Musa made the announcement in a statement in Dutse, the state capital, today maintaining that the state executive council approved the program in line with the state programme for free maternal neonatal and child healthcare.
Musa as well added that the council also approved the disbursement of 179.2 million naira as direct facility financing to the accredited primary healthcare centers. speaking further, the commissioner also announced the approval of 888 million naira by the state government for the national examinations payment which will covers for 39,709 candidates in the state.
