Contrary to misconceptions, Voice 89.9 FM has no affiliation or partnership with Give the Nation Foundation. The NGO utilized our platform for publicity purposes, having paid for airtime.
Our obligation was solely to broadcast their announcements, as we do for all paid advertisers.
We regret the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the NGO’s unfulfilled promises to the people of Ekiti State.
Voice 89.9 FM had no knowledge of, or involvement in, the planning or execution of the failed event.
To clarify:
- Voice 89.9 FM is a radio station with no ties to Give the Nation Foundation.
- We do not operate or endorse any NGOs.
- Our role was limited to broadcasting paid advertisements for the NGO.
