Governor Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Dr. Sunday Ajeigbe as the new rector of Ekiti state polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, effective from September 2.
the chief press secretary to the governor, Yinka Oyebode made this known in a statement; explaining that Dr. Ajeigbe will succeed prof. Johnson Adeosun, who’s tenure ends on September 1.
Dr. Ajeigbe has previously served as deputy rector at federal polytechnic Ile-Oluji, Ondo state, and held various positions at federal polytechnic Bida, Niger state.
however, Governor Oyebanji urged him to leverage his expertise to reposition the polytechnic as a world-class institution of technical education.
