GOV OYEBANJI APPOINTS ACTING CHIEF JUDGE

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has appointed Hon. Justice Lekan Ogunmoye as the state’s acting Chief Judge.

The appointment was confirmed in a statement signed by the special adviser media to the governor, Yinka Oyebode

This appointment follows the passing of former Chief Judge, Hon. Justice John Oyewole Adeyeye.

Justice Ogunmoye’s tenure takes effect from November 5, exercising the powers conferred on the governor by section 271 (4) of the 1999 constitution.
