Following the demise of the Chief of the Army staff, coas, lieutenant general Taoreed Lagbaja, President Bola Tinubu has ordered that flags should be flown at half-staff nationwide for seven days.
This is coming after the adviser tom the president on information, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the passing away of the late Lagbaja.
President Tinubu has however expressed his heartfelt condolence to the family of the deceased and the Nigerian armed forces during this difficult time while wishing Lagbaja eternal peace.
The president also honoured the significant contributions of the late coas to the nation.
