The Nigerian workers in telecommunications and electricity sectors have threathen to shut down the national grid and telecom services by today midnight if the president of Nigeria Labour congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero is arrested by the Nigeria police force.
this was contained in separate notices by the general secretaries of the national union of electricity employees, Dominic Igwebike and the national union of postal and telecommunications employees, Mary Nwosu, respectively.
this comes after the police in a letter summoned Ajaero for questioning on over an alleged link to terrorism financing and other allegations.
