HEALTH ORGANISATION HIGHLIGHTS ADOLESCENTS MEDICAL CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA

The centre for integrated health programs, CIHP, has voiced concerns over the high rates of adolescents battling HIV, other infectious diseases, mental health issues, substance abuse, and limited access to health services in the country.

in a statement to newsmen today, the group chief executive, Bolanle Oyeledun, opined that it has become expedient that experts sit in and deliberate on the vulnerabilities faced by this critical section of society and find ways to address their challenges.

oyeledun also maintained that this demography in the nation’s population appears to have been overlooked and requires sustainable strategies to empower them.
