the president disclosed this recently while receiving a delegation of Islamic leaders led by Sheikh Bala Lau at the state house.
according to president Tinubu, the current administration is doing its best to address the hardship of the nation saying that one of the reason he commenced the student loan scheme. he therefore urged the protest planners not to turn the country into Sudan.

the president’s made the declaration as the department of state services, DSS warned against the nationwide protest over the hardship in the country.
however, the national youth council of Nigeria, NYCN, has also directed its 104 affiliated youth organization to be standby in preparation for the nationwide protest slated to start on august 1.
