Residents have begun a three-day public holiday ahead of the local government elections that will start tomorrow.
In a statement by the chief press secretary to Governor Darius Ishaku, the public holidays will terminate on Wednesday, July 1.
The CPS, Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa said the holidays will allow residents participate properly in the election.
Civil servants are expected to travel to their respective wards and vote during the local government election.
