Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Funminiyi Afuye has appointed five aides who will now be involved in the daily administration of legislative duties.
In a statement signed by the clerk of the House, Joseph Alao was appointed Chief of Staff to the Speaker while Akogun Tai Oguntayo is the Special Adviser on Media.
Akogun Tai Oguntayo is a seasoned Journalist who served as Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Ekiti was until his recent appointment, Senior Special Assistant (Media) to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
Others appointed include; Michael Bamidele as Special Adviser (political matters) Kemisola Ajibola as special adviser (Special duties) and Stephen Olawande as personal assistant.
Their appointments are with immediate effect.
